DisabiliTech.Com is dedicated to promoting awareness of new assistive technologies, advances in technological developments and other news for those with disabilities.

About this site...

The idea behind DisabiliTech.Com was to highlight new technologies which aid -- or could some day aid -- people with disabilities. During the first stages of the launch, we ran into difficulty over the "scope" of the project: We knew we wanted to highlight news, research and success stories about technology's role in disabilities. But did that just mean highlighting assistive technology? What about new research on future technologies? Or applications of existing technology in new and innovative ways? The answer was: Yes, all of the above.
